Entrance Examination
Common Entrance is the examination taken to gain entry into State Grammar and Independent Schools throughout the year. Entrance exams can take place for entry either at 11, 12 or 13 years. The subjects taken vary between schools and according to the age of entry. Some schools also set their own scholarship papers, in which the standard is higher. Subjects covered include: Verbal Reasoning Spelling and Grammar Times Tables Science (as needed) Tuition Benefits A combination of different methods of learning is used including: Written/Workbook Activities This combination of methods will help your child develop new skills and learning techniques, providing them with the best advantage to ultimately pass their exams and win a place at their chosen school.
